Recovery Topic – Prayer
for me, has become something natural, i try to make all i do a prayer or communication with my higher power
my work
my communications with others
my family life - try to recognize all these things as gifts from god
and i ask him to walk with me in all these areas.
this is what i would call conscience contact with god
12 and 12 likens prayer is to the soul as food/air is to the body
prayer strengthen, refreshes and helps the soul to grow
prayer is not superstitious - if i say the words just right i will get what i want
prayer is not to change god, it primary purpose is to change me
some hindrances toward pray toward faith in a higher power

Business meeting
long ass meeting
just bring up money or prayer at a group conscience meeting
but there is a place where money and spirituality do mix, in the collection basket
the 7th tradition reads
a motion was made to pass basket instead of just having basket on table
trying to generate more funds for the club and for district and area offices

found out he’s a listener
