I never was very good on the telephone; I'm still not.  Talking to other men about my life took some getting used to.  "Bookending" telephone calls is also discussed as a way of getting through tough times

In the episode, I discuss dishonesty.  When I first came into the fellowship I was iving a double life and I was trying to manipulate everyone to get what I wanted.  This required a lot of lying and I hurst people and caused a lot of confusion.  When I first came into the rooms, you people encouraged me to practice something called rigorous honesty.  This virtue didn't and doesn't come easily especially when I'm afraid I'm not going to get what I want or I fear I'm going to loose something I value.

This episode I explore my feeling of loss, joy, fear all wrapped up in the departure of someone very close to me.  The painful feelings used to drive me to a bottle, but now drive me to you people.  For this I am eternally grateful.

Intellectually I know the departure has always been his dream but it is now my loss.  This fellowship has taught me to feeling the feelings and try to learn what it is my Higher Power is trying to teach me.  I'll let you know what that is when I have that epiphany.
